This mandolin was conceived and made for the Healdsburg Guitar Festival, a marvelous event to both show and see the best designs and workmanship of today's lutherie community.
The top is master grade engleman spruce with X bracing. The back, sides,
neck are big leaf maple from Oregon. The fingerboard, finger rest, and bridge
are ebony. The black binding and ebony appointments contrast nicely with
the rich blond woods.
